In the coming time, along with the domestic Test season, India and Australia are also to play a five-Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In such a situation, Indian captain Rohit Sharma is leaving no stone unturned regarding his fitness. He has been exempted from participating in the Duleep Trophy.


India has to play 10 Test matches from September to January under the World Test Championship cycle.


It will start with a home series against Bangladesh in September-October by playing two Test matches, after which India will face New Zealand in which three Tests will be played. The next five Test matches will be part of the Australia tour, which will start with the first match in Perth on November 22. To stay fit for 10 consecutive Test matches, Rohit is working out under the supervision of his old friend and current assistant coach of the Indian team Abhishek Nair.

Red ball is going to be used in the Test series against India and Bangladesh, in which Rohit is preparing for swing regularly. Let us tell you that this match is going to be played on 19 September.
