Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra wins javelin throw silver at Paris 2024 Olympics!
Neeraj Chopra has won two consecutive silver medals. He threw the second-highest throw of his career at 89.45m. But he fell behind Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem who breached the 90m mark twice. Arshad Nazim set a world record.
Neeraj Chopra failed to win two consecutive gold medals.
The 26-year-old became India's fifth two-time Olympic medallist after adding silver to his Tokyo 2020 gold. Only Norman Pritchard, Sushil Kumar, PV Sindhu and Manu Bhaker have achieved this feat by winning two bronze medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
He is only the third athlete after Sushil and Sindhu to win medals at two different Summer Games.
